Elie loves this little play mat- even more than Josiah did. It was my niece Mia's, then Josiah's. Josiah would watch the bird move but Elie figured out quickly how to make the bird sing when she kicked it. She also likes to grab the various things that are hanging down.
But the other day I found her like this...
You might think she would have been upset by this. She was quite happy trying to chew on the mat rather than playing with the toys.
Today she was actually rolling around enough that the mat fell down again & broke! I guess it's time to retire this toy.

Saw these the other day (= The one of the mat all over her is so funny! I'm so glad we were able to spend some time together - even if it was a little crazy and my brain wasn't even functioning (= Fun to see that great carpet from IKEA!
