Uncle Ben & Aunt Judith visit

Here are a few pictures from our visit from Uncle Ben & Aunt Judith in October. Aunt Judith has a much better camera than us & took a lot more pictures. Unfortunately we didn't get copies. (But the pictures are coming with Grammy & Granddaddy in a couple of weeks.) So here's a few from the ones I took.

At the Burj Khalifa in Dubai























This is almost a 2 min video but the fountain is truly amazing. You can find better quality videos on youtube. I compressed the file because it was just too big. We were sitting at TGIFridays overlooking the fountain. It goes off every half hour on weekdays and we saw it right after we ordered. That time it wasn't very impressive. It was a slow song and the water just didn't seem to do much. I was glad we were still there for the next performance. This one was really cool. I read online that the water goes up to 490 ft. (You have to watch the end of the video clip to see that.)

One day Josiah & Joshua will ride too! Isn't it funny that they are both on bikes that match their clothes! I'm sure that wasn't planned. (There wasn't an age limit for the kids to ride these bikes but we thought it might not be a good idea for a year or so.)
