Catching up, again

Jan 29: Elie looooved the corn on the cob. Sorry, the videos will never make it (I'm a realist) but trust me it was hysterically cute!

This is our beach camping trip to Fujairah, UAE back in mid-Feb. This first pic is Elie enjoying the sand. We had to keep an eye on her as we set up our tent because she kept "scooting" down to the water.

Found some critters- Joey is trying to keep Elie's hands OUT of the bucket so she doesn't get pinched by the crabs. Sweet big brother.

Jon & Joey climbed the "mountain" the last day. Our tent is in the picture below. It was our first time to use it. It is a pop-up tent. The same idea as the sunshade for your car's windshield. We LOVE it. Jon & I can actually put it up by ourselves even with little kids running around. A bit harder to take down but still so much better than the other one we had.

Two tired & hot kids...

Feb 28: Where's Waldo part ?? Sent Joey outside to play after waking him up from a nap. Didn't hear anything for a while. Went outside calling him and after not getting any reply and starting to panic that he'd left the yard found him here...

April 1: Elie loved doing this for several weeks. Not sure why. April 1 she also decided to stand upright on her own for the first time!

May 10: can't remember how this started. I think I probably found one of them in the bucket buried and then decided to help the other. It was probably Joey that helped bury his sister. Anyway, it was lots of fun and we did it over & over again.
