Our red Chevy Blazer finally gave up the ghost. We were spending more money fixing it every month than a new car payment. Plus we never knew when or where it would break down. So, we sold the Blazer for not much money & bought a Ford Explorer. We said we wouldn't buy another American made car 'cause the parts are harder to find but there are tons of newer Fords & GMCs around these days. We're enjoying the new car & enjoying that we don't have to take it to the mechanic or worry about when it will next break down!
Jon had to throw another celebratory party at work in honor of the new car. Another guy had also gotten a new car so they decided to go in together. After talking about dates for about a month they finally got it all together last Tues. They had about 30 guys out for a BBQ at the beach. Jon's boss and most of the guys in the engineering dept. came. They had a blast & were there for over 4 hours. Here are a few pics...
