In our old town we could occasionally find Blue Bell but it was expensive & usually had been slightly melted & refrozen. We hadn't seen any in a while or here in our new town. So when I saw Blue Bell the other day I thought "It won't be any good & it will be expensive" but I looked anyway. They had several different kinds - including French Vanilla but not Homemade Vanilla. (They did have Homemade Vanilla in the little mini cups.) It was actually about the same price as the other ice creams! So I told Jon about it & he decided we would go back another day and check it out. So a couple of days ago we went back & they had Homemade Vanilla! So we got it! Then we had company the last couple of nights. They aren't Americans, much less Texans to know what Blue Bell is. So we saved it. So tonight we had our Homemade Vanilla with chocolate sauce & pecans. It was yummy! Sometimes it's the little things in life...
