Our friend Lynnie just celebrated a milestone birthday. (We won't tell you how young she is!) She invited a bunch of people to go out on a "dhow" (the local term for boat) cruise. The weather was nice even if a little warm. The sea breeze was refreshing.
The boat was set up like a bedouin tent with traditional style cushions.
We rode down the coast a ways and saw some of the sites of our city but from the water side. Here is the Sultan's palace.
