Self-feeding

I think I mentioned before that Josiah likes to eat Cheerios now, but he still hasn't realized that HE can put them in his mouth himself. So a couple of days ago when he put a piece of cheese in his mouth it was something to celebrate! Food really can come from his own fingers and not just from Mom & Dad on the spoon. We'll see if this will be repeated... (We tried with pancakes this morning but he only ate pieces we put in his mouth. He loves to pick up and drop on the floor the pieces from his tray. :) )

so great to catch up on whats going on with the little guy! Man I miss you guys- thanks for the invite. Can you believe Kead will be a year next tuesday??? It seems like just yesterday we were walking the mall trying to get my contractions to stay strong! :) I wish you were going to be around for #2.

I'll be checking in often to see whats goin on with the wilks!

Hey there! Glad to hear he's sorted out that he can feed himself (= It can be about as fun as watching TV (especially TV out here!).

Ah, self feeding is such a great milestone. We didn't rush Adeline because it didn't occur to us that it would free us so much during mealtimes. We were pretty happy when nursery worker told us that she downed about 30 cheerios on her own. It was like a whole new world of mealtimes.
