Aunt Rachel, part 4

Rachel & I went to have henna done at a local salon. I haven't had it done in several years. It was fun.

Someone gave us this lollipop & I've been promising it to Joey as a reward when he poops on the potty! He's in diapers only for poop & at night. We've had several chance poops on the potty but he normally wants to do it in his diaper. Everyone says he will eventually transition.

When Jon comes home from work he often takes the kids for a bit. On this particular day I don't think I'd had a nap so I stayed inside oblivious to the fun taking place outside!

The ice cream was either for Joey getting a haircut (bribe for sitting still in the barber's chair) or another reward for pooping on the potty. (He gets several things- I keep hoping if we up the ante something will click. So far he can rattle off all the rewards but still wants the diaper.

Anyway, so Elie got to participate in the ice cream. Please don't look at her hands while she is eating! Remember, I was inside asleep. :)

A few Father's Day pics

We finally used the handprint tin my sister had given me eons ago. Thanks Aunt Alex! It was a great hit with both kids & dad.

A chainsaw is a great Father's Day gift, right? We are looking forward to having firewood on our wadi & camping trips when the weather is cool enough.
