Kayla's 1st few days

Josiah & Eliana came up to the hospital to meet Kayla. They were impressed. At first they couldn't find her "hiding" in her plastic bassinet. They had fun looking at her eyes, hands, toes, etc.

We had a birthday party for Kayla with donuts!

Elie tried several different kinds (but didn't eat all of any 1).

Kayla slept though the party. Joey was generous and wanted to share with Kayla. Elie didn't offer.

Back at our Muscat home, still sleeping.

By the way, this is a great swaddler. It's merino wool which actually breathes and keeps the baby warm but doesn't overheat. It's super soft too. Thanks Auntie Lynnie! Merino Kids Cocooi

Our first outing as a family of FIVE. Kayla is 3 days old here.

We ate at DQ. Not the most glamorous but we knew it would be fast enough & enjoyable for the kids.
